Hello! I hope everyone is having a good night. As you can see, there’s something new on the dash(questionnaire). I’ve noted that they help bring life on the dash, and a tremendous boost with character development. So, from now on we’ll have a little something called Why Wednesday! What that typically means is one of the admins. at any given time of the day will post a fun questionnaire. I hope you guys like the idea!
forever one of your loving admins,
The Following characters are on Activity watch:
I know we’ve been lenient with activity for the past few months, but things are going to change around here. Please keep up with activity.
Hello lovelies. I know that things have sort of fallen into disuse and activity is shifty. I apologize. This semester has been more difficult than I anticipated. Good news is that it’ll be over in a little over a week, and then I’ll be able to properly dedicate time to this RPG. New characters, new story-lines, new events.
Thank you so much for your continued support and presence here. I adore you all.
Just wanted to say that I’m proud of you guys for taking initiatives with plots and character development. It’s lovely to see so much fodder for drama. Keep in mind that major plots should be ran by the admins before being put into place.
Also, thank you to those that have been trying to keep activity up. I know that with school beginning, activity is a difficult subject. So, thanks again.
Love you all.
Thank you, dear anon. Bryson is Admin Vivi’s baby; she wrote him as an original character a while back but I recently took her idea and revamped the bio to add more information. So, all credit to her. Thank you for your kind words of support. We love getting messages like these.
Hello to those on the main page, right now. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
Name: Bryson “Bryce” Connors | Age: 17 | FC: Dylan O’Brien | Native of Malibu | Open
A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting. - Doctor Who
Despite being born as Bryson Luke Connors. the Malibu resident much preferred to be called Bryce; after all, it was easy to say and even easier to remember. Bryce grew up privileged: a gifted athlete, handsome, and humble, despite being fed with a silver spoon. All was well in the Connors’ home until Juliette Connors, Bryce’s mother, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when the boy was still in elementary school. Just two short years after her diagnosis, the Connors matriarch succumbed to the disease ravaging her body.
Juliette’s death left the male Connors drifting in a world that suddenly seemed colorless; without the maternal figurehead and family anchor, the Connors decided that a change of scenery was necessary. So, even though it was to be Bryson’s first year in middle school, the Connors men moved to Hawaii. There they met Carla, a Hispanic reporter and the woman who would one day become Bryson’s step mother. At first he wasn’t sure about her, still grieving over his mother’s death and handling a new social environment. Years later, though, the two are inseparable; Carla has made it more than clear that her she does not intend to take his mother’s place in his life, an admission that Bryson well admires and respects. He has come to find a quiet strength and gracefulness in the woman that has served as an anchor in his new surrounding. Now, though, as the Connors’ make their way back to their hometown, Carla in tow, Bryson worries that things will change. Having to enter a new high school mid-year, attempting to befriend kids that he’d known only as a child, Bryson fears the task.
Bryson discovered that the cancer that killed his mother was indeed genetic; the doctors’ tests showed that there was even a distinct possibility of him being a carrier. As such, the boy took on new habits: constantly remaining active, washing or sanitizing his hand at any given moment, taking caution in handling objects previously used by others. To those around him, the constant care appeared to be a bit over the top, but the boy had seen the way his mother had suffered and was determined to not have to know that pain for himself.
That is until his junior year of high school; Bryson fell in with the wrong crowd, trading his carefully cultivated caution driven routine for a more “teenager” approach to life. He’d grown tired of never going out, of not hanging out with friends, of being the coddled kid hidden beneath layers of bubble wrap. He wanted to experience life for himself, to find out what he had been missing out on for so, illness be damned. This new found need for life led Bryson to experiment - sex, smoking, pills, alcohol - anything the teenager could get his hands on.
Unfortunately, or fortunately given the boy’s chosen life-style, the cancer that had for so long remained dormant has begun to rear its ugly head, affecting the boy’s life and leading to another change in lifestyle. Again, Bryson is cautious but unlike before, he is still determined to live life the way he chooses to rather than allowing the cancer to dictate the terms for him. Therefore, he fully intends to continue partying and loving. Just in a safer, more contained way.
+ funny, amiable, seemingly carefree
- quick tempered, moody, indecisive
- Gabriel Ibrahim: Bryce and Gabe have been best friends since the age of three when Bryce’s family moved into the manor near the Ibrahim’s. Even after the move to Hawaii, the two kept in contact, and it was without much effort that they reconnected after Bryce returned to Malibu. Although Gabe is Bryce’s most trusted confidante, he is afraid to tell the other boy about his health issues.
- Jacob Simmons: The relationship between Bryson and Jacob is strange - at times, they are as close as brothers, but at other times, they can hardly stand one another. Bryson resents the other boy’s clear cut ideas of right and wrong when it comes to sexuality and takes pleasure in watching the boy squirm, knowing that the odd attraction that lies between them disgusts Jake to the core.
- Other relationships up to player.
Bryce does not believe in sexuality label; rather he believes in freely loving, an idea he’s cultivated through a lifestyle of careless sexual experiences. He is also diagnosed with cancer.
After I finish fixing up and reposting our open characters, I’m going to begin on characters that do not necessarily have secrets but are still playable. They will basically be characters that serve to further the plot as well as characters with connections/knowledge of other characters’ secrets but no secret of their own. If you have any face claim requests or ideas for biographies please feel free to send us a message.
